a collection of thoughts during a period of severe depression and substance abuse, separated into four categories, reflecting the four stages of the alchemical process: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, or the four aspects of the human experience, each of which, the author realizes as they release themselves, needs acknowledgement and care for the individual to achieve a state of balance. they conclude with a reminder to themselves to be gentle, and move with love, even when they make mistakes, because "in the end, all will be forgiven."
